🏮 The cards

Every table plays the 52 bathhouse cards - spades always trump. In the kingdom game a pack's effects ride 3 random non-spade cards of the shared deck (marked at the table), the hero of the kingdom you represent touches a card some hands, and a pet may stir. Plain Spades has none of it.

🎴 Kingdom packs and heroes

Every kingdom's pack of 3, made from its name, description and tags, and its hero card. Your first invite or bump for a kingdom hands you the pack with the hero; the shop sells packs for 10 plunder (no hero). Rulers upgrade their hero for 15 plunder a level.

⚖️ Balance

Measured from simulated duels each day: a card that wins exactly half its games is perfectly balanced (a full bar). Default kingdom game only - plain Spades has none of this.

Pet events: 🐾 Scatter - the pet knocks the tricks about - no bags for anyone this hand · 👃 Sniff - the pet sniffs out a card - everyone sees one card of each opponent.
