Many Bumps is a hobby project run by one person. Plain words, no lawyers - but these are the rules.

The service

Many Bumps is a Discord bot and this website (manybumps.com and worlds.manybumps.com). The bot reposts server invites between connected communities and runs a game - Kingdoms - on top of them. The worlds site is a shared writing room for story bibles. Both are provided as they are, free, with no promise that they will be up, complete or unchanged. Features come and go.

Your part

Follow Discord's Terms and Community Guidelines everywhere the bot posts.
Only post invites to servers you are allowed to advertise. Bots can't be listed. Servers marked age-restricted are not eligible for a kingdom.
Names, descriptions, tags, lore and images you submit are screened; anything hateful, sexual, illegal or targeting a person is removed and may get your server or account removed from the game.
Don't abuse the bot: no scripted bumping, no invite spam, no attempts to break the site or the game.
Rulers, writers and world owners can remove people from their kingdoms and worlds; the bot's owner can remove anyone from anything.

Content you submit

You keep whatever rights you have in what you write and upload. You give Many Bumps a licence to store, show and repost it inside the bot and on these sites for as long as it stays there. Lore written in a world belongs to that world's writers together; approved canon is shown publicly when the world is public.

Payments

Premium cosmetics, where offered, are cosmetic: the game is never pay-to-win. Purchases are handled by the store they are made in, and their refund rules apply.

Ending

You can leave the game any time from your realm page (opt out), take a server off the map, or leave a world. The service can end or change without notice; if it does, kingdom history may be kept as part of the game's record.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Many Bumps is not liable for anything that comes of using it - lost invites, lost kingdoms, lost hours. Use it for fun.
